Mostar – Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar is a little town in the Herzegovina region and, watching how it looks today, one can easily forget that in 1993 the town and the old bridge / Stari Most (built by the Ottomans in the 16th Century) was completely destroyed during the Bosnian-Croat War.

In 2005 UNESCO inscribed the bridge in the World Heritage List
